Farmhouse Remodel

This charming old farmhouse had been poorly converted by the previous owner. Sense Architects was appointed to reimagine the space, optimizing the layout to better suit the client's needs and lifestyle.

The original, separate kitchen and dining rooms were merged into an open-plan layout, creating a more functional and inviting space. A central, long corridor was redesigned to incorporate a Boot Room, with a utility room beyond for added practicality.

To enhance the connection with the garden, the rear wall of the living room was replaced with a large crittal-style glazed screen, opening directly onto a new terrace. On the first floor, the layout was adjusted to create a luxurious master suite, complete with a spacious ensuite, dressing room, and a flexible office space.
